Noor Holding is one of batik and songket celebrated in Terengganu, namely Noor
Arfa Craft Complex, which is located in an industrial area in Cendering,
Terengganu. Noor Arfa Holdings Sdn Bhd, was given the Entrepreneur Award 2011
in the category of corporate Mara. Name Noor Arfa Batek also the result
initials Hijerah Noor and her husband Wan Mohd Ariffin Wan Long. They are also known for its
unique and patterns produced was favoured by the public and meet the tastes of
the public. Noor Arfa Holdings Sdn Bhd factory will not only be in the state
but also opened in Melaka. Noor Arfa Batik founder, Wan Mohamed Ariffin Wan
Long began to engage with the current Youth batik became a laboratory assistant
in handicraft Malaysia in the 1970s. There in Berlin start learning how to make
batik. Soon he knew Noor Hijerah which has now become a wife and also the
Executive Director of the participating craft Malaysian Handicraft Development
Authority (LKKM), Kota Bharu, Kelantan in the late 70s. After marriage, Noor
Hijerah follow her husband and settled in Kuala Terengganu. This is where

in the backyard of their rent in the village of Tanjung, Kuala Terengganu with

Hijerah. The first product produced by Noor Arfa Batek is batik kaftan. In the

Wan Mohamed Ariffin now able to have a batik factory in Industrial Area
Cendering, Kuala Terengganu, assisted by 200 workers and has Terengganu batik
producing 150 products. Noor Arfa Batik currently has six branches throughout
the country, two in Malaysia, two in Terengganu, one each in Selangor and
Kedah.
